12 hour notation 
=always written with am and pm
24 hour notation 
= we do not use am and pm 

Change the following to 12 and 24 hour notation

1) 5:15 am= 05:15
2) 22:45=10:45 pm

Length of time
 
a) Joseph wakes up at 06:30, he takes 15 minutes to bath and 7 minutes to make breakfast. What time does he live for school?
= 06:30+15+7
=06:52

b) Emma  walks from home to work for 25 minutes, if she reach work at 07:30, what time does she live home?
=07:30-25
=07:05
