 When rounding off take note of the following; 0-4 (keep) while 5-9 (change)

Rounding off to the nearest 10

a) 40=40

b)789=790

Rounding off to the nearest 100

a) 109=100

b) 60=100

Rounding off to the nearest 1 000

a) 999= 1 000

b) 67 000= 70 000

Rounding off to the nearest 10 000

a) 1 999=1 000

b) 107 400=110 000
